Overview

The AGM is an important forum for the Management Committee and Trustees.

The SSCR is a charity that connects researchers, farmers, agronomists, and industry professionals to advance crop research and sustainable agriculture in Scotland. It operates through sub-committees focused on: combinable and energy crops; soft fruit; and potatoes.

The AGM is an important forum for the Management Committee and Trustees: to summarise the Society’s activities over the past year; vote on specific actions, for which a quorum is essential; and provides and, opportunity for Trustees and the Management Committee to hear directly from members.

In addition, the AGM offers a valuable opportunity for Trustees and the Management Committee to hear directly from members about their interests and concerns, helping to shape the Society’s future research priorities and direction.
